Janie Starnes, Trust and Wealth Management Officer/ Operations Manager at First Community Bank feels grateful to be in a position where she can give back to her community. Janie joined the WRHS Foundation Board of Trustees in 2015 and currently serves as Vice President.
As a child, Janie remembers that many routine medical procedures had to be done in Little Rock because there were no specialists or proper facilities here in Batesville. “In those days the only way to Little Rock was on a two-lane highway. It was a long trip for someone who was sick and created financial difficulties on many families.” Today she is so appreciative that we have a wonderful healthcare system in our community. “I want to continue to support WRHS and keep it viable for future generations.”
